I’m not the kind of person who buys a new coat every year. I believe in buying classics that will last a long time. Unfortunately for me, my classic, red, wool coat is looking a little beat up after 10 years of constant use. It’s something I will definitely still wear on the weekends, but I don’t feel comfortable showing up to work in something so worn. It’s important to me (and my employers) to always look professional. Therefore, it’s to go shopping!
The first coat comes is from Prana, and is water repellent. While it most likely won’t be warm enough for below freezing temps, it is great for those chilly, rainy days. Coming in four different colors, and with a cut that follows the line of the body, this is a very attractive option.
I am deeply in love with coat’s that wrap. This Helene Berman does not disappoint! It hits below the knee, and the wrap combined with the shawl collar lets you snuggle in when you need a little extra warmth. But made of wool, this coat will be keeping you warm all winter.
